Farmers & customers: register Agrisystems Food Access
Our inaugural Community Beef Share initiative brings farmers and households together through transparent, coordinated purchasing, with future growth into microgreens, hydroponics, vegetables, mushrooms, aquaculture and other agricultural products.
Farmers & customers: registerOur starting point
Ten participating households work together to purchase one locally raised beef animal. Agrisystems identifies a trusted farmer, coordinates communication and purchasing, and works with a USDA-inspected processing facility. The beef is professionally packaged into equal-value family shares.
The program
Food Access connects local farmers and agricultural enterprises with households, churches, community organizations, restaurants and other buyers seeking quality food products.
Our role may include organizing demand, coordinating producers and qualified processors, supporting transparent purchasing, developing reliable markets and strengthening the relationships that allow local food systems to grow.
